Yesterday I was interviewed by Cameron who is a first year media student at Robert Gordon’s University. The topic was on Universal Basic Income and he asked some challenging questions!

Denburn Medical Practice Visit

This week, I visited Denburn Medical Practice in Aberdeen to learn about their model of care and how they are dealing with the very real pressures GPs are facing across the country. 

Overcrowded classes in Aberdeen schools

New figures show there are 63 classes of 30 or more pupils across Aberdeen city – involving almost 2,000 pupils.

That is a significant increase since 2014 when there were 1,630 young people affected, in 52 classrooms.

Meeting with Leonard Cheshire Disability Scotland

Today I welcomed representatives from Leonard Cheshire Disability Scotland to my office in the Scottish Parliament.

We discussed the great ways in which they are helping disabled people across Scotland, as well as their plans for the North-East and Scotland as a whole.

Meeting with UK Chamber of Shipping
